Out-of-town guests coming to Pueblo to buy marijuana now have a place to stay and legally smoke their weed.
The management at Microtel Inn & Suites, 3343 Gateway Drive, permits guests to smoke marijuana in any of their nine smoking rooms. There are 63 rooms in all at the inn.
“We figure people are going to do it (smoke marijuana) whether we let them or not,” said Heather Peralta, Microtel manager.
“It’s not my business to go around and patrol to see whether people are smoking marijuana.”
